Currently most of the info I will be posting here will be gathered from one of my two machines.

My favorite is my desktop. The specs include:

• AMD Athlon64 X2 6400+ @ 3.2GHz

The desktop is running Windows XP SP2 (have yet to move to SP3), with a virtual machine through VirtualBox running Slackware 12.1.

On the laptop side, I am running a Dell Inspirion 700m which is a Centrino branded laptop based off of the Carmel Platform. It runs:

• Intel Pentium M 1.6GHz processor (ranges from 600MHz to 1.6GHz)
• Intel 2200BG wireless card
• Intel 855 Chipset
• Intel Extreme Graphics 2 (up to 64MB shared memory)
• 1GB (2x512MB) DDR 333 (upgraded from original 2x256MB)
• 160GB WD Scorpio 5400rpm harddrive (upgraded after the original 60GB went out)
• 12.1″ WXGA screen 1280×800 native resolution
• Running Slackware 12.1
